I was born in Wolverhampton back in the '70s, but my family moved to Manchester when I was two and I lived in the area up until 2014, when I moved to Liverpool. In 2015 I moved to the Wirral with the author Cate Gardner, and in 2016 we got married.
My school years were horrible. My college and University years were great.
I graduated with a 2:1 degree in 1996 and realised what I wanted- needed- to do was write. A succession of dead-end and/or soul-killing jobs followed- office worker, fast food operative, WP operator, training administrator, call centre worker.
Now, finally, I'm self-employed and doing what I love. So far I've published three novels, a chapbook and four short story collections. Two new novels are forthcoming and I'm working on others, not to mention a screenplay.
I'm represented by Anne C. Perry at the Ki Agency. You can read my full client profile here.
If you've read and enjoyed any of my books, I hope you'll consider leaving a review on Amazon. It would be really appreciated (or even if you didn't like it!)
